About Bloom

House of Bloom® Medical Aesthetics in Fredericksburg, VA is known for Advanced Facial Anatomy Knowledge | Artistically Trained Eye | Skilled Hands | Safe & Respectful Environment.

Our Story

House of Bloom was founded on a simple belief: healthcare and aesthetics should be personal, thoughtful, and centered around the individual—not rushed appointments, one-size-fits-all treatment plans, or temporary fixes.

After nearly two decades in healthcare spanning critical care, surgical oncology, general surgery, and advanced practice medicine, our founder, Rebecca Chanda, MS, CCRN, AGACNP-BC, NP-C, saw firsthand how often patients felt unheard, dismissed, or left searching for answers. Whether struggling with hormone imbalances, weight changes, fatigue, aging concerns, or confidence in their appearance, many patients were told their symptoms were simply something they had to accept.

House of Bloom was created to offer something different.

A place where science and aesthetics meet. A place where patients are truly listened to. A place where care is personalized, relationships matter, and treatment plans are designed around the individual—not the average.

What began as a vision for a more personalized patient experience has grown into a boutique medical aesthetics and wellness practice dedicated to helping patients look, feel, and function at their best. Today, House of Bloom offers comprehensive hormone optimization, weight management, regenerative medicine, laser treatments, injectables, skin rejuvenation, and wellness services—all guided by evidence-based medicine and a commitment to natural, graceful results.

Our philosophy is simple: true confidence starts from within.

Whether we are helping someone restore hormone balance, navigate menopause, improve their skin, support their wellness journey, or age more confidently, our goal remains the same—to help every patient feel empowered, supported, and more like themselves again.

At House of Bloom, we believe that aging is a privilege, wellness is personal, and beauty should never come at the expense of authenticity.

We're honored to be part of your journey.

More than aesthetics. More than wellness. A place to bloom.

THE BLOOM TEAM

Welcome! Meet the Owner, Rebecca.

Rebecca is the founder and clinical director of House of Bloom Medical Aesthetics & Wellness, bringing more than two decades of healthcare experience and a deeply rooted belief that aesthetics, wellness, and medicine should work together to help patients feel their best—both inside and out.

Her nursing career began at the bedside, where she spent more than 15 years caring for patients across acute care, trauma, and surgical specialties. After earning her Master of Science from Georgetown University and becoming a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Rebecca transitioned into advanced practice, spending more than eight years specializing in general and oncologic surgery. This extensive clinical and surgical background helped shape the foundation of House of Bloom: patient safety, clinical expertise, education, and highly individualized care always come first.

As her career evolved, Rebecca became increasingly passionate about the intersection of aesthetics, hormones, metabolic health, aging, and overall wellness. She founded House of Bloom to create a different kind of practice—one where patients could pursue aesthetic treatments while also addressing the changes occurring beneath the surface.

Today, Rebecca specializes in advanced aesthetic medicine, skin rejuvenation, hormone optimization and menopause care, medical weight management, metabolic wellness, regenerative treatments, and longevity-focused medicine. Her approach is intentionally comprehensive and conservative, with an emphasis on helping patients look refreshed rather than changed and creating treatment plans based on the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Rebecca is particularly passionate about caring for women throughout perimenopause and menopause and helping patients better understand the connections between hormones, body composition, metabolic health, sexual wellness, skin health, and the aging process.

Her passion for the field extends well beyond her own practice. Rebecca serves as a national speaker in aesthetic medicine and wellness, clinical educator, aesthetics trainer, and mentor to other medical providers. She has presented on national platforms and enjoys sharing her clinical experience with fellow healthcare professionals. She is especially passionate about mentoring providers as they develop their skills, expand into aesthetics and wellness, and pursue the creation and growth of practices of their own.

At the heart of House of Bloom is Rebecca's belief that confidence isn't simply about how someone looks. Her goal is to create an environment where patients feel heard, educated, supported, and empowered to make thoughtful decisions about their health, wellness, and appearance.

Outside of the practice, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their two pups. When she has the opportunity to get away, you'll often find her recharging with her family in one of her favorite places—the Outer Banks.

Heather Gutensohn  - ADN, RN

Heather brings nearly two decades of nursing experience to House of Bloom, with a strong clinical background in critical care and a passion for helping patients feel their best through aesthetics, skin health, weight management, and hormone optimization.

A registered nurse since 2006, Heather spent much of her career caring for critically ill patients in the ICU, with the majority of her nursing career spent serving patients through the Department of Veterans Affairs. This experience gives Heather a unique understanding of the needs and experiences of the many military personnel, veterans, and military-connected families we care for at House of Bloom.

After transitioning away from bedside nursing in 2022, Heather’s own experience as a House of Bloom patient sparked an interest in aesthetics and wellness and ultimately led her to join the team in November 2023.

Today, Heather specializes in skin rejuvenation, laser and energy-based treatments, medical weight management, and hormone optimization, with a particular interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause. She has expanded her role to include menopause and hormone coaching, helping women better understand the changes occurring during this stage of life and navigate their treatment options with education, support, and realistic expectations.

Heather’s approach to patient care reflects her years in critical care nursing: thoughtful, safety-focused, and individualized. She believes patients should understand not only what treatment is being recommended, but why—whether she is developing a skin rejuvenation plan, guiding a patient through weight management, or helping a woman better understand her changing hormones.

Originally from Jasonville, Indiana, Heather has called Virginia home for the past six years, settling in Fredericksburg following her husband’s final military assignment at Quantico. Outside of House of Bloom, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chuck, and their two pups, Bolt and Maverick. A devoted Chicago Cubs fan, she especially loves catching a game in person whenever she can.

Drew Reynolds - Practice Administrator

Drew helps keep the day-to-day operations of House of Bloom running smoothly, bringing a strong background in customer service, administration, and coordination to her role as Practice Coordinator.

A native of King George, Virginia, Drew graduated from James Madison University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and a minor in Humanitarian Affairs. Before joining House of Bloom in January 2024, she first experienced the practice as a patient—an experience that ultimately inspired her to become part of the team.

Drew’s professional background includes experience in banking, wedding venue coordination, and nonprofit administration with United Way. Her organization, attention to detail, and ability to juggle the many moving pieces behind the scenes help support both the House of Bloom team and the overall patient experience.

Outside of work, Drew enjoys spending time with family and friends and, of course, her beloved dog, Rory. She also occasionally lends a hand with her family’s mobile bar business, LoveBuzz Mobile Bar.

Kim Reynolds - Patient Experience Coordinator

Kim is often one of the first friendly faces patients encounter at House of Bloom. As our Patient Experience Coordinator, she helps ensure every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed, valued, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

With a strong background in customer service and a natural ability to connect with people, Kim brings warmth, organization, and attention to detail to the patient experience. After spending more than 20 years raising her two children, she brings the patience, adaptability, and multitasking skills developed through both life and work into her role at House of Bloom.

Kim has been happily married for 26 years and, outside of the clinic, enjoys staying active, working out, walking her dogs, and spending time with her family—especially when that time involves a trip to the beach.

Alexandria “Alex” Morrow, BSN, RN, CCRN - Registered Nurse

Alex brings 16 years of nursing experience to House of Bloom, with a strong clinical foundation in trauma and critical care and a growing passion for aesthetics, wellness, and preventative care.

Alex began her nursing career as a trauma nurse in New Haven, Connecticut, after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colby-Sawyer College in 2010. She later became a travel nurse, gaining experience across multiple specialties and healthcare settings throughout the country before settling in San Diego, where she transitioned into critical care. She has spent the past decade caring for critically ill patients and continues to work part-time in the hospital. Alex is a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and also holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and stroke care.

With a longtime interest in aesthetics and wellness, Alex pursued additional training in neuromodulators and dermal fillers before joining House of Bloom. She has since expanded her experience into skin rejuvenation, microneedling, laser treatments, medical weight management, and wellness-focused care.

Alex’s approach to aesthetics is grounded in the same principles that have guided her throughout her nursing career: safety, education, compassion, and individualized care. She takes the time to understand what each patient would like to improve before recommending treatment, ensuring they understand their options, expected outcomes, and aftercare. Her goal is to help patients achieve results that feel refreshed and balanced while maintaining a natural appearance.

She especially enjoys neuromodulator treatments, microneedling, and laser-based skin rejuvenation and loves being part of a practice where evidence-based aesthetics and wellness come together under one roof.

Outside of House of Bloom and the hospital, Alex enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her husband and two children.
