Dermal Fillers

Before Treatment

• Stop blood-thinning meds/supplements 5 days before (if safe to do so).

• Avoid alcohol 48 hours before.

• No filler within 2 weeks of dental work.

• Take antihistamines 3 days prior for tear-trough filler to reduce swelling.

• Do not schedule if pregnant or breastfeeding.

After Treatment

• Expect mild swelling or bruising (may last up to 2 weeks).

• Avoid pressure, exercise, heat exposure for 24-72 hours.

• Use ice packs and gentle cleansers only.

• No facials or laser treatments for 7 days.

• Contact us immediately for pain, discoloration, or blanching.

Follow Up

• Results peak around 4 weeks; schedule a touch-up if needed.
